Hello! played your game and had some good feedback on it.

Problems

Exploration & Movement

  • The areas are quite expansive. For instance, Route 1 feels like an enormous field compared to other pokemon games. There’s a lot of open space, which results in considerable downtime while traveling between locations.
  • The walking speed feels a bit sluggish. Moving through the larger areas can become tedious, especially when you need to return to a previous spot.
  • Encounters occur too often. The combination of vast areas and frequent encounters can make traveling frustrating, although at least fleeing is instantaneous.
  • Encounters can trigger outside of the grass. I've experienced encounters activating even when I wasn't standing in the grass.
  • The camera could benefit from being zoomed out more. A broader view would facilitate easier navigation through the areas.

Combat

  • Model clipping happens quite often. You can see some noticeable clipping issues during combat (like in H-scenes) and in various locations outside of combat, such as the player's home and the lab table at the professor's.
  • Some combat attacks don't register correctly. There was an instance where the enemies attack seemed to occur, but the damage didn't actually get applied.
  • Certain combat animations don't quite fit the Babemon involved. Some animations can appear out of place depending on the creature, like the Handjob attack on a female (non-penis) Babemon.
  • Combat scenes can take a bit of time. Watching certain short animations repeatedly can really slow down the pace of battles.
  • The detection range for trainers feels a bit too extensive. Trainers can spot the player from quite a distance, which makes it challenging to dodge battles.
  • Turn order isn't always clear. There are times when the enemy seems to attack first when I would expect the player to go first. Though, I’ve noticed later while playing that it might depend on levels (If that's the case, feel free to disregard this concern).

Stats & Progression

  • Stats for Babemon are non-existant. It's hard to determine how much a level influences HP, damage, Speed, and other attributes.
  • The XP progression seems a bit inconsistent. A high-level Babemon can gain a significant amount of XP from weaker enemy Babemon, which can make the leveling system feel a bit off.
  • Weaknesses are not clearly indicated yet. It would be helpful to understand what each Babemon is weak against or resistant to. As mentioned, this is still an early stage of the game, and I believe we might see elemental attacks introduced later on.
  • The game may become grindy. As the difficulty and progression ramp up in the future, I've noticed that leveling multiple Babemons could become a bit tedious. This is a common issue seen in other SFW and NSFW pokemon games.

Healing & Home

  • Fainting (Losing) can lead to quite a bit of backtracking. It can be really frustrating to return home after fainting (losing) from a long journey, this is due to the given current movement speed and the size of the areas.
  • The healing options seems limited. This ties into the previous point, as aside from healing stations and potions, it’s not very clear where else you might be able to heal. I assumed the bed (referring to "Pokemon Naughty Version by zozo") but that wasn’t the case.

UI & Quality of Life

  • No clear Pokédex-style system.
  • No map or navigation system.
  • No quick-access hotkeys for inventory, map, or Babemons.
  • Multiple save files would be useful.
  • More character customization, apparel and physical would be appreciated.
  • No additional items/rewards upon random NPC interactions/chat.
  • Exploration could use more secrets or hidden items, like the pokemon games.

Presentation

  • Dialogue could use more variety. As playing as futa, some dialogue feels somewhat male-focused.
  • Double battles aren't currently available. Not an issue at all, but they could add some fun variety later.
  • Character portraits would be nice during important dialogue. Also not an issues. Example, having the professor or rival/friend appear on screen during important conversations could make story moments feel more engaging.

Fixes / Suggestions

Exploration & Movement

  • Make areas smaller and more compact, reducing unnecessary travel time. Alternatively, add fast travel between important locations. (Not common on these pokemon games TBF)
  • Add a running mechanic and/or 2× and 3× movement-speed options.
  • Reduce the overall encounter rate.
  • Make sure encounters only trigger in intended areas, such as grass.
  • Add a camera zoom-out option.

Combat

  • Improve model collision and animation positioning to reduce clipping.
  • Make sure visual attacks/effects correctly apply their intended damage as bug fix.
  • Create animations that better match each Babemon's design.
  • Add an option to quick-skip combat H-scenes/animations.
  • Reduce trainer detection range, allowing us players to avoid/skip trainer battles, if necessary.

Stats & Progression

  • Add a detailed Babemon stat screen showing HP, Attack, Defense, Speed, etc. just like other pokemon games.
  • Show stats increase with level.
  • Add a weakness/resistance system. Having H-weakness would be interesting as well.
  • Adjust XP rewards based on the level difference between the player and opponent.
  • Consider adding an XP Share early game. The XP could be very little but do as you like.

Healing & Home

  • Add more convenient healing options throughout the world.
  • Supporting the Exploration & Movement section, make returning from a faint(loss) less tedious through faster movement, smaller areas or fast travel.

UI & Quality of Life

  • Add a Pokédex to track discovered/caught Babemons.
  • Add a world/area map.
  • Add hotkeys for Inventory, Map, and Babemon/Party.
  • Allow multiple save files.
  • Add more character customization options. Appearance (more tops, bottoms hairstyles, faces) and Physical (weight/body shapes(?), and ”sizes”)
  • Give NPCs occasional useful rewards such as potions, TMs/HMs, or other items.
  • Add hidden items/secrets throughout the world. (hidden great ball, hidden master balls, HMs/TMs)

Presentation

  • If interested, Consider adding character portraits during important dialogue and events.
  • Give major NPCs more varied dialogue for Futa option.
  • if interested, consider double battles as a possible future feature.

Final Thoughts/Recap/TL;DR

The v0.0.1 is impressive, and I can already see the potential for improvements and new ideas that will enhance the game. It has a lot of promise.

My main suggestions would be to consider implementing would be faster movement or/and smaller areas, or/and fast travel options, as well as refining combat and animations, establishing clearer progression systems, reducing downtime, and adding more H-scenes (both in and out of combat) or combat moves. I’m sure these issues and ideas are already on your planning board, so feel free to check off any that you’ve already addressed, as well as identify any new challenges from a player’s perspective. I’ll be closely following the development of this game and wish you great success!

Hi, thanks for the feedback. Read all of it. Some of the things mentioned are things planned for future beta versions and I have taking note of the suggestions and issues pointed out by you and others who have played the beta v0.0.1. I am making an effort to include them, I want to expand this game to have more features than what you will see in a typical 2d monster tamer game and will make sure to keep you and others interested in the game updated.

Does or can this have futa or trans options, including any involving a guy getting fucked?

At the moment it has a male and female Futa option but planing on expanding that in future updates
